Gumtree Wai is set on five acres of prime grazing grounds in the heart of the Hunter Valley wine country.

The property features a landscaped salt water pool with a bark-covered pergola.  Lounge chairs, air mattresses and beach towels are provided.

The dams are stocked with yabbies and the wide verandah offers guests serenity and peace in a tranquil location.

The homestead features reverse cycling air conditioning, a fabulously large living area, gourmet kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances and fully equipped for guests to create their own culinary delights.

Luxuriate on the generously proportioned recliner lounges, read a book, watch a movie from our impressive selection or have fun with a variety of board games.

The property comfortably sleeps eight people.

The Master suite includes a queen bed, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite.  Glass doors open onto the verandah where cafe table and chairs have been placed for guests to enjoy a morning coffee, or to unwind with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

The second bedroom features a queen bed with views onto the verandah and beyond.  The third bedroom includes a double bed with a garden aspect. The fourth bedroom features a wrought iron day bed which can be configured to a comfortable king size bed.

All bedrooms are fitted with ceiling fans and built in wardrobes.  

The main bathroom provides a bath and shower with a separate toilet and vanity area.  Bathrooms are fitted with heat lights to ward off the winter chill.

Well behaved pets are part of the family and are welcome to enjoy the family holiday.

A breakfast basket complete with country-style bacon, farm fresh eggs, bread, butter and jams, is available on request and can be ordered when booking your stay.

A Welcome Basket,  complete with a variety of teas, coffee and biscuits, and other items,  is provided  for your refreshment on arrival.

A complimentary bottle of wine, ready for decanting, is available for your enjoyment.
